This weekend there’s been a festival in our city, called In Vino Veritas. It’s latin, a Roman saying that means: when you’re drunk you speak the truth! The world hasn’t changed much since ancient Rome, it seems!
It’s been really cold lately! Penguins crossing the street at every moment!! No ok, let’s be realistic: winter itself this year was very forgiving, it never even really snowed (Pheeew!! YAAAAY!), but the temperature has been kinda the same for 4 months. So now it feels like it’s colder than it should be, even if it’s not. Does it make sense? In few words: WE’RE TIRED OF THIS, GIVE US SUMMER!
Sometimes as we go grocery shopping for some particular recipe, there’s no doubt the cashier must be perplexed by what we buy. One time there was this rock/metal-looking guy and while we were paying he asked if we could invite him to the party, too, because it looked awesome!
One of our best friends is getting married tomorrow! Yay! Last week we threw her a hen party. She told us later that traditionally the hen party remains a secret even after it’s done… really? We totally didn’t know!
While we are distracted with weddings and parties and the novelty of this blog, and the cold, the rain, the strawberries (which, for some reason, this year are already available) and everything in between… St. Patrick is approaching faster than ever!
